Right in the heart of Valencia, just behind Plaza de la Virgen, you’ll find a true paradise for every beer lover. It all began with the owner’s passion for collecting bottles, labels and beer coasters. That hobby turned into a beer shop in the city center, where he also organized beer trips. This charming little bar in Valencia has been around since 1980 and is tucked right in the social heart of El Carmen. Café Infanta

One of the highlights of Plaça Tossal is Café Infanta, with its spacious terrace and an equally impressive interior. Inside you’ll discover beautiful wooden furniture, exposed brick walls and unique details that make it a cozy spot to spend time.

And the best part? You can enjoy it all day long. Start your morning with a croissant and hazelnut spread, or choose from a wide variety of tostadas (toasted bread) and bocadillos (sandwiches), available until 12:30, perfect for breakfast or a late brunch. Robin Hood

For a fun night out in a classic English pub, Robin Hood is the place to be! With its cozy and welcoming interior, this bar is the perfect stop on your pub-hopping route through Valencia. The beer selection is extensive, with plenty of choices both on tap and by the bottle.

Portland Ale House DLX

The owner of Portland Ale House originally comes from the United States, and fun fact: he decided to start brewing his own beer right here in Valencia. That’s exactly what you’ll find on tap! With its wooden interior, warm lighting and cozy decor, the place feels like a classic brown bar, the perfect spot to relax with a drink or enjoy some food.

A nice detail: there’s a popcorn machine by the entrance, so you can help yourself to a free bowl of popcorn with your drink. And since this is a true American-style bar, you won’t be surprised to find the all-time favorite burgers. They’re juicy, flavourful, and absolutely worth trying!

Tip: During big sporting events, think World Cup matches, major tennis tournaments or other classics, the atmosphere here is electric. Just make sure to arrive early if you want a seat, because it gets packed the moment the game starts.
