If you are visiting Valencia and you want to know more about the bus, then you might want to have a look at this page.

What
Valencia has many buslines. You can easily use one of the buses by waiting at the bus stop. At some stops you can see how long it takes for a bus to arrive.
Buy a ticket
You can buy a single bus ticket directly from the driver. Just place your money on the small counter, and the driver will print your ticket and you’ll need to take it yourself from the machine. Keep in mind that drivers prefer handling as little cash as possible.
Paying by card is also an option, but here’s the catch: for every ride, €20 is temporarily reserved on your account. It will be refunded after a few days, but to avoid the hassle, it’s smarter to pay in cash or, even better, get a multi-ride card.
You can buy this Bonobus card at a kiosk or a tobacco shop (Tabacos). Once you have your Bonobus, simply scan it at the pole to the left of the driver when you get on. The display will show you how many rides (viajes) you have left. You don’t need to check out here and you can even use one card for multiple people traveling together!
Prices
If you buy a ticket in the bus it will costs you €2,- each time you take the bus. You can buy a Bonobus card for €8.50. It is possible to do this at the tabaco or kiosko. With that €8.50 you can use the bus ten times. If you buy this card for the first time, keep in mind that it will be €2.00 extra for the fysic card. If you are sure you are going to use this way of travelling more often, you might consider a Bonobus to save money.
