Apotheke
Apotheke is Valencia’s very first speakeasy cocktail bar and what a gem it is! A speakeasy, by definition, harks back to the Prohibition era in the United States: hidden venues where alcohol was served behind closed doors, away from prying eyes. The charm lies in the secrecy from the street, you’d never guess what’s waiting inside.
Apotheke may give you a little clue with its discreet sign above the door, but to actually step inside, you’ll need the password of the day. Once in, you’re treated to an inventive cocktail menu: think Whisky Sour scented with bacon and Parmesan bitters, or a smoky Mezcal Paloma. Feeling peckish?
